nam Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I see ads once in awhile on ebay and craigslist both for U Turn machines. Then when I see the pictures they don't even resemble what I know as U Turn machines. Are there now or were there at one time more than one company called U Turn? Are the machines I'm seeing like the ones on this rack below that are listed as U Turn machines made by the same U Turn machines that we all use now?
Jax Snacks Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 No nam, some people think that if YOU TURN the handle then the machine is a UTURN! I have seen this labeling many times on ebay listings with all kinds of non-UTURN equipment. Makes you wonder sometimes. Jax
nam Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Jax, That's just funny. So do you know what kind of machine these are in the photo? nam
Jax Snacks Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Looks like older Northwesterns. The stand looks like a silver sentinel that NW makes. So I would assume the equipment came from the same place. Jax
shvend Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Nam, the best I can tell Jax is correct on the make of the machines being NW's. The best I can tell by looking at the pic they are Roger Foltz's machines. He had a trademark chrome package in his machines.
