Abdon,

I haven't seen anything like these before. Bet they would make some good money in the right locations for sure. How much?

I just called to this mexican company, and they told me that  the "futbolito" machine is to $ 7,000 pesos, that´s like $ 518 US dollars. I know that it is a little bit expensive, but in Mexico it would be a reasonable price. Believe it or not, that´s what I paid for my last two NW S 80 30". :)

Ask nam how much to deliver some machines down there to you and bring back some of these? They do look good if you have places that you can put them.

Beer,

I think the drive from Texas might actually be closer. When are you moving there?   :D  Maybe he could buy the machines there in Mexico and bring them up to you in Texas and return home with machines from the US that are not available or cheaper here.  Right now would not be a good time for anyone to cross the border except by air.  The border towns have become a war zone with thousands being killed, and kidnapped in this battle among drug dealers.  Hopefully, the Mexican army can get these killers under control and go back to bringing drugs across the border in peace again.   We have had alot of warnings about not driving across the border any more as well as continous TV and newspaper coverage of all these killings.  Really terrible but it is all most all at the border towns and this drug dealers are fighting each other and pretty much doing what ever they like to whoever they like.  It's a shame!  :(

Hahaha. That´s right nam. The mexican situation is difficult in these days, that´s why is important for both governments to assume their responsabilities in both sides of the border. But well my friend I prefer to talk about vending. So, by the moment these machines could not be exported or introduced to the US. :D

Abdon,

Check out this link to a very good quality soccer game machine. http://www.sportsblaster.com They make more than one type of machine with a soccer theme. Check out the regular sportsblaster and also the Xtreme sportsblaster that has also large capsules to dispense prizes they can try to win. These are way cool machines and make more money by a long shot than a normal gumball soccer machine. These machines can be ordered with the playfield set up for baseball, football, soccer and several other choices. You choose your favorite sport. Even with monsters playing the game! Check it out.  You can find these used between $25 to $400 depending on the model.  I posted the smaller Sportersblaster here in the forum not long ago under New York for $25.  If you check out the Shop and Swap area I've posted several of these machines.  The larger Xtreme Sportsblaster just went on Ebay for $150.  Hard to even find the Xtreme Sportsblaster but the regular Sportsblaster is normally a couple hundred bucks average.

Wow, the sportblaster company has very good vending machines. The ones you posted are much better than the last two I added. From the sportsblaster I would buy the "air show" and the "topsy turvy". The best soccerball vending machine I´ve seen is the first I posted in this thread.

These are not soccerball machines, but they look great, and they catch the attention of everybody.

Thanks for the link Nam.

Abdon,

Glad you liked the Sportsblasters. The two big machines you just posted to my knowledge are not made by Sportsblaster. I have alot of the one called Topsy Turvy here but that is just another name put on it by a distributor. That machine was manufactured by http://www.wackyfunfactory.com and is really a Wowie Zowie. The Wowie Zowie is the exact machine with only the name being called something different from Sportsblaster. Actually, U Turn has bought the Wacky Fun Factory so they now own the Wowie Zowies and provide service, parts, etc. Check out this link: http://www.uturnvending.com of the well know big Yellow 4 cannister or 8 cannister machines that turn on their base. Very nice machines depending on who you ask. I like them for the most part. The big tall air machine is kinda fun too. I only have one of those. It has 3 blower motors in the bottom and blows show balls that are like ping pong balls up tubes and all around but of course the kids get a gumball and thats what is at the top of the machine. You can put the smiley face ping pong balls in that machine as well as the smiley face gumballs. It also has lights and sound. I have lots of machines like these as I think they are more fun and unique so the locations will like them as well as the kids. They cost more than a normal gumball machine but then they also make more.

You´re right Nam. The Topsy Turvy machine is actually the Wowie Zowie. For me both machines are awesome. In some years I hope to try at least one of them. Maybe I´m a newbie, but I´m learning fast thanks to you, the experts. Now that you mention the U turn company, and one of the links you posted was the one of its website, I would like to ask you about its machines. Here in San Luis and in others states I´ve seen the U turn and the U turn elimination machines. What do you think about this brand and its machines? Personally I would buy the NW kiosk, for me is much more attractive and it has a higher visual impact. I know it is expensive, but it worth. Do you have U turn machines or NW Kiosks?

Thanks for the links Nam.

Abdon,

I have some 4 select and 8 select U Turns. I have quite a few of the one you posted right here and that is my favorite U Turn machine. The last ones I bought for $10 each and the ones before that were $40 each I think. I lose track. lol I would love to have one of these Northwestern Kiosk! Here is my problem and I'd like it to be yours as well.

I can buy nice 8 select U Turns for $100 each all day long. Got an email today on 4 for $340 in nice condition. Still a little high for me. How much does this NW Kiosk cost? Let's make a guess and round it off at $1,000 for 12 Heads making pesos. Lets be super conserative and say I pay $100 each for 8 select U turns so for $1,000 I can buy 10 machines or 80 Heads making pesos. So for the same investment we can have 12 Heads or we can have 80 Heads making money. If two heads are better than one then certainly 80 heads are better than 12.   :D

:D That´s what I say, it´s incredible you can buy many machines with not much investment. The tall NW Kiosk costs $ 1870 us dollars (cost of the factory). I know that in the United States you can buy many machines with that quantity. :( Unfortunetly I´m not in the same situation. But well, I will take advantage of what I got. I´ll work hard, I´ll learn as much as I can, and I will see my business grow. This first year in the vending as been very interesting for me.

Abdon,

I would suggest you read the posts in the Shop and Swap section of the forum. Get a feel for what the machines can be bought for up here so you'll know a good deal or a great deal when it comes along. When you are ready, drive up here in a van (rented if need be) and buy as many as you can afford to buy and drive back home with them. Of course you would need to know about converting the mechs on used U Turns to pesos, etc. but all in the learning process for the future. If U Turns are in your area someone is converting them or maybe U Turn has mechs for the pesos. You would be able to build your business much faster getting more machines for less money, right?

It seems to me that with NAFTA we have alot of big trucks crossing the border coming from plants in your area and all over Mexico to the US. I doubt we have as many full loads going to Mexico from the US as our cost to manufacture is much higher. You might inquire from some freight companies about what it would cost to ship from Houston to San Luis Potosi? You could drive to Houston and spend a few days buying and packing for shipment. Take them to the freight company and let them all them all down to you if you don't have easy access to a van or truck.

Again, just thinking outloud my friend. Trying to think of a way if I were in your shoes to do this.

Nam:

I really appreciate each one of your posts. I feel I learn with each line you write. I will consider some of your advices for future buyings. And as you say, when I´m ready (economically :D), I´ll try to buy my own machines in the US. Even NW are much cheaper there than here. Of course taxes and transportation are important factors to consider.

I know that FedEx Freight delivers to Mexico so if someone will make a skid of used machines you can get them sent over. I just saw one of those airshows for sale on Craigslist for $250 I think.
