(AP) - Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a vending machine maintainer at Northwest Florida State College. DeFuniak Springs Police Capt. Mark Weeks says the man was found on campus Friday afternoon with two gun shot wounds to the chest. His identity hasn't been released. Police are looking for someone named Thomas Ford McCoy Jr. in connection with the shooting, but would not elaborate. Crime is on the rise and with the economy being so tight people are doing some crazy things. He probably got fired for doing something or worked with this guy and did not like him. "Thomas was convicted of murder in the shooting death of his former supervisor. Thomas Ford McCoy Jr. was sentenced to life for first degree murder of his former co-worker and will now enter the Florida State penal system on Wednesday. The supervisor had been filling in on the route Thomas serviced since he fired him on Tuesday."
