What scoop on Beaver sticker/tattoo machines & different mechs?

Anyone using Beaver sticker/tattoo machines?  All of my flat vendors have ESD or Greenwald mechs. and thought it was very strange to see this Beaver machine on Ebay with what appears to be a more normal looking mech that would be on a bulk candy machine.  I guess the turning must push the card out instead of pushing and pulling?  Seems like it would be alot harder to turn the little handle as far as getting the sleeve out of the machine.  Some of my flat vendors are fairly hard to push in and out so can't imagine trying it with the small little handle to turn and do it?
