Hey seemore1,

Congrats on getting your first 3-head placed! I'm new myself and am also looking forward to the experts here answering your question.

If you're really picky about it you can go to a large supply house like GFS and buy food-specific lube. I'd just use store-brand non-scented petroleum jelly...

On the used machines that I buy, I give the mech a shot of Silicone Spray when I clean them up. Silicone Spray repells dirt, not like the grease that attracts dirt. Dirt is what jams up the mech.

Hopefully your coin mechs are nowhere near the food product. If they are,you got a big hole to plug up.

+1.

On what machine does your coin mech touch the merchandise?

I'm trying to figure that one out myself, Smiley. I know none of mine do. If there is one out there, please don't use the Silicone Spray.

Yeah, and forget what I said about WD40 being non-toxic. I still use it on my mechs tho.
