My change mech won't recognize dimes

My Quantum 700 series doesn't recognize dimes.  Do I need a total rebuild or can I try something else?  Thanks as always.  Dan

Get it repaired or better yet, replace it with a 3 tube mech.

I second AZVendor's recommendation to REPLACE it.  Throw that quantum pro in the trash.

And to OP:  When you say it "doesn't recognize" dimes, do you mean it won't stack them, or they get stacked but not credited?  Something else?

They're pretty easy to work on, the tubes pop right out in case of a jam.  But what exactly is going on with yours?

Yes - what is the recommended 4 tube MDB coin mech?  I also have some Quantums, not sure if I like em or not, but if/when they fail like to know what the "go to" mech would be....

I use the Quantums a lot and I can't remember the last time I had that problem with one.  Not that I doubt you, but I would just replace it with another mech, Quantum or otherwise.
