Oversized labels to cover the front of your cannisters?

I like larger labels to cover the front of cannisters as to not show the amount of candy (or lack of) in the cannister.  I've tried to make mine as big as possible but this makes mine look small.  How do you make them so large vertically without distorting the image and still fit horizontally?

Those are huge, I'm impressed. My candy containers (and gumballs) do not have any labels on them. This might prove to be a mistake.
