Dixie Narco Black Paint

I'm refurbishing a Dixie Narco machine. The black sides have some blemishes that I've decided to re-coat with paint.  It looks like I need to break it down and spray but some people tell me I can roll it with a good quality oil based satin.  Can anyone give me some advice?

When I used to refurbish vending machines I used Hy-Lux industrial paint. It's high quality  paint, can be sprayed or rolled.

We have used paint from a local hardware store and the local Sherwin Williams Paint Store. Both worked well. We used both-roller and a small spray gun. Both were latex paint.

I had some Mercury/Mercruiser marine paint laying around - same paint the put on the Mercruiser outdrive that will last yeas in salt water.

Not sure where I got it but Amazon or West Marine probably have it - super tough and pretty easy to work with.

Have you considered vinyl wrap? Much easier in my opinion. Can get black from NBS. The black is the same mil as the Pepsi/Coke decals.

Ive also used Rustoleum paint/primer gloss and it works well.
