nam Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Bander, Where you been besides countin quarters? You were gonna give us a run down on the place in LA with those cheap racks? Did you ever go there? Thanks for posting the Vendstar deal - that's cheap for sure. nam
BanderSnatch Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 never went bro, Kinda got lazy, now I'm back! hahaa.. .long story, good to hear from you though. u interested in them machines? $25/pop Phoenix Arizona. No key though, is that key universal? I mean does any Vendstar key work on any machine? if thats the case than no biggy..
BanderSnatch Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 they were but the ad got pulled for some reason? But if I were you i'd be interested. it's $25/machine, can't go wrong with that brother Vendstar 3000- 3 head candy machine. 20 of them, you can grab all 20 for $500 or just get a few at $25/each. But if you got a few & planned to come back for the rest, i doubt they'd still be available.
nam Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Bander, The ad was probably cancelled because the seller sold the machines already. Machines at that price are gonna go really fast so like the first one there is gonna be the one to get them. I've already got more Vendstars than I need as I'm going to get away from candy anyway. nam
BanderSnatch Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 it is $25 per machine, I just talked to the guy, they are still available.
BanderSnatch Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 Nam, why are you getting away from candy dude? please tell me in detail. Also, what are you venturing into? Toys? or... what are you thinking? are you going to stay in bulk vending? tell me what you have on route? how many machines/what kind thanks!
nam Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Bander, I want to do less candy for several reasons most of which are well known such as rising prices, spoilage, shorter service cycles, etc., I'm wanting to do more toy/capsules, gumballs and sticker/tattoos. nam
BanderSnatch Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 They are $25 per machine. Each machine has 3 heads on it, they are all in good condition. it is the vendstar 3000- google it up, look at photos it is in Phoenix Arizona There are 20 of them, you can take some, or all of them. $25 each. let me know if you are intersted.
thenwho Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hello, Wao $25 for a triple head machine? That is a very good price. How do you get parts for these vendstar if they are damaged? Are they very good candy machines? How much are the critical components such as coin mech, etc if we need to buy in case of problem? Cheers
nam Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 thenwho, The manufacturer will not sell to you unless you buy new machines from them. However, if you look on ebay parts are readily available. These machines are 3 hd with removeable cannisters and a spill tray. Very light weight as they are all plastic. Should be cheap to ship which I know would be important. Everybody has an opinion on these machines. I personally have them and would buy more if I wanted more inexpensive machines. They are not the quality of a Beaver or Northwest and no one that has them will try to say they are. However, if you can buy them cheap and get more machines out making money then they may be a great deal. Also most the guys that run these will tell you they can last for years and don't have major issues with them. Personally, I'd rather have a Vendstar than a Rhino or XYZ. I just posted some brand new Vendstars on Craiglist in Minneapolis. The seller has 16 brand new machines for $50 each - $800 for all! You can buy these used for $25 to $50. This is why you buy a Vendstar. nam
BanderSnatch Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 nam, these machines are in Phoenix Arizona, no need for shipping. they are $25/each machine, there are 20 of them. you can get as many as you want, prices are negotiable. are you interested?
nam Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Bander, Appreciate the offer and think it is a great deal for someone but not me. I'm getting out of candy for the most part and already have a ton of these machines myself. nam
BanderSnatch Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 Oh ok, thanks anyway bro. How much do your best candy machines make? & how often do you service? how long does it take you to service the machine(s) & what kind of machine. & How much does your number 1 & 2 locations make & what machines/same question as other. For me, i'll tell you- My best machine(s) So far it's only been 1 month, but my number 1 location Is a Bowling alley, that owns a Laser tag next door in the same shopping center So it's like 2 locations in 1 I have 1 Tomy Gacha master machine in each. 1 in the bowling alley & 1 in the laser tag I put about 175 capsules in each globe, Last month (fist collection) I made $833 gross sales, I gave the owners 30% which was $250, cost of toys was about $240= $343 profit. from 2 machines. & some kid that works at the bowling alley called me the other day & said one globe is empty all the way & the others are near empty. & the girl that works there told me in Summer, it's Really busy. made it seem like it was a lot busier. Anyway those are my best, the other 2 locations that are my best make about $100/month depending.. I have a gacha junior machine that makes $100 on a good month (half size of a regular gacha machine) & a master machine that makes about $100 on average, or more on a good month profit. That place has a Master machine & a junior.
thenwho Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hello Nam, Thank you for your info. The vendstar online is very limited on the product information . No price, no dimension, nothing. Hehe. Your information is very much clearer to me. Is there a third party company that can produce coin mechanism that might work for vendstar. Hehe. I suppose no, but in case there is away, please tell me okay. I am interested to buy those vendstar 3000 and 5000 machines. TNT here can help out with the collection. Cheers
thenwho Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 By the way, Good morning guys. I suppose its early morning there Cheers
nam Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Thenwho, I don't now if any other company makes mechs that would work on a Vendstar. I've never seen one with any other mech on it. Here is a suggestion for this or any other machine you are considering. Go onto ebay and buy just the coin mech or maybe a couple of them. This would be very cheap to ship and allow you to take the mechs and check them out for the possiblity of working with your countries coin. Possibly take them to a machine shop and see if there is anything can be done to allow them to accept the coins there. These machines come 2 per box from the factory and the weight would probably be well under the max allowed weight set by our post office of 70 lbs for shipment. The issue would be the size which I think can't be but 108" (I think) distance around both directions of the box. They have two different categories for shipping and one has a slightly bigger allowance on the size but not on the weight. I am really afaid almost all these other machines will be too heavy to even consider shipping traditional air freight or the US post office. Vendstar is the lightest weight machine on the market to my knowledge and if it's too expensive you're gonna be better off going with a machine from China. nam
