G-Vending Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I have a dixie-narco single price machine that has a problem You put in dollars (vend price is 65c) it will give you back 15c It is full of quarters but it will not drop them it drops a nickle Anyone had this problem? Can you help please.. PS it has a coinco 3341-s mech.
g_r_vending Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I had a little of the same problem with a Mars and it ended up being the little toggel switches that need to be set the right way for your .65 cent vend, if you have another machine that is similar check the litle switches and see if the in the same postion.
Johnny Ringo Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I don't know if this helps, but there are DN manuals in the PLUS section. I just got upgraded. It's sweet! I found the manual for a used machine I just bought.
sbishop Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 i had the same thing with an older coin mech. If the stack of quarters got too high it would not kick out the coin. trouble shooting 1- with the door open check to see if the coin mech is moving the stoper under the quarters 2- remove most of the quaters and see if it works 3- replace the coin mech lol I am not sure how you can fix it I just replaced mine when it started giving me problems. I try to carry and extra coin mech and bill acceptor incase I find a problem.
ANDERSONVENDING Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Push the quarter button to make sure that the motor works,I had a problem with mine not giving dimes.Turns out that a dime had a sticky substance on the bottom dime. John
G-Vending Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 Ok if you push the quarter button to remove quarters it does not drop them at all. Was going to get a rebuilt mech it just take time to have it shipped..
ANDERSONVENDING Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Take a small screwdriver and push up on the quarters to make sure their not stuck. John
