boxopen
I am looking at purchasing this machine for personal use. I can get it for basically nothing, but it may take some work. Can anyone identify what model it is so I can do some further research? Thanks!
orsd
Antares mechanical combo. I don’t recommend it at all, even for home use, unless you were gonna use it as a target. The refrigeration coils are steel and rust out. At that point it’s complete trash. If it was free and there is a scrapyard that will take these for free near you (check, not many will, too much plastic and it has refrigerant) and you needed a fridge to keep beer cool then maybe. But otherwise no.
AZVendor
There is and never was any useful documentation for those. They are get rich quick scheme machines sold at seminars to stupid people that can't control what they do with their money. They use a cooling system without a condenser and the freon is cooled like an old refrigerator with the freon lines inside the cabinet walls. The problem with that is the insulation in the cabinet reacts with the freon lines and rots them out leaving an unrepairable leak.
