Quarter Master Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Shawn, I've been looking at 4 head racks myself and the cheapest type I like is at GMF.Here's a link: http://www.gumballmachinefactory.com/product/1058.html
westlakevending Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 those look like nice stands but they look bigger than the ones A&A has and i believe they are about same in price
nam Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Islander, That's a nice looking stand for the money. I think I've seen those on locations. nam
Quarter Master Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Nam, The reason I like that particular kind of stand is because it makes the machines more or less "stand out" from the rack itself.I want to promote the machines and products-not the stand.
shvend Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Shawn, Most of those stands are pretty much the same size. There may be a couple of inches difference at the most. That is with my experience. I myself use the black A&A stand, and love them. I recommend the black due to rust issues with the chrome stand. In resturants mainly you have a big chance with rust and grease build up on the stand that really becomes noticible and hard to get off when the stand gets some age on it. Where black you still get the build up but it is not that noticable. Hope that helps!
Jax Snacks Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 If space is really tight and a few inches matter, then the rail-less rack stand from gumball machine factory or amerivend is what you want. This is the smallest footprint with a rack stand and a very tight fit. If space is not so tight and the extra 3 or 4 inches don't matter, then get the rack stand with rails from gumball machine warehouse. You also have the added advantage of adding a wing to each side for expansion if it turns out to be a hot spot. The rails also make it easier for you and the location to move it. I hate J-Stands! The flanges on both pipes never really tighten and line up properly. Kids constantly turn the machines (via the loose flange) a bit and play with them. A&A and NW stands are too expensive for me! Get black and not the chrome due to rust issues. I also personally avoid wheels since it makes the rack much easier to steal. Jax
