I was wondering if I was giving too much, or too little as far as on each vend.

what setting do you adjust it to on these candies?

mike & ike

hot tamales (same I am guessing)

MM's

skittles

reece's pieces

pmm

runts

cashews

peanuts

Chiclets

I am sure alot of these are the same, but wanted to get the opinions.

I bet this one is for nam.

There was a post that tells how many pieces of each kind of candy = what weight. You can do the math to figure out your cost per vend. I think in was in this section a few months ago.

JP,

Here is the page that Vendstar suggest for vend settings and amounts.  The amount on PM&M's is too high imo.  I vend 5-6 as these things are pretty expensive.  A few things may be too much besides with rising candy prices so just use a little common sense and use this a guide only.

Thanks Nam,

I was just getting ready to try to attach that.

When I set up my first machine yesterday I tweaked them a little bit. I still think my plain m&m's are giving out too much but will fix that on future machines that go out. I set the wheel and set it on the table and filled one of the openings to see how much it would hold.

It was pretty quick and easy as already had scanned it to send to you. lol I don't like changing settings on location so it's nice to have removeable cannisters. Next time you go just have another already adjusted on a lower vend setting and swap it out when you go there.

tct,

Ask and you shall receive.  This actually was posted earlier on this thread but thats cool.  You may be having an issue with the HT sticking together.  Try spraying a small amount of cooking spray, PAM on a wooded spoon and stirring up the HT.  The light coating may help to prevent them from sticking together and not vending right.
