Not in service on Dixie Narco 276

Recommended Posts

What causes a "not in service" to be displayed on machine?  Cannot find any reference to it in owners manual.  Thank you.

Not sure but I'd start by checking the motor harness and fuses.

On second thought, checked for a jammed motor.  Sometimes it can put a machine out of order.  I don't know why but it can happen.

I hope it solves your problem.  I had a 276e that would go out of service over a jammed column.  I don't remember what it said but you couldn't buy anything until you unjammed it.  I only had the machine temporarily as it was another vendor's Pepsi lease.  I never figured out why it would go out of service aside from the obvious jammed motor because most E machines still let you purchase other selections.  Even pulling the door switch would often resolve the jam.

i figured it was the timer setting on the board.   I'd start by removing the battery to get rid of any scheduled lock out times on the board.   Maybe it lived in a school for some of its life.

Turned out to be the 6 amp fuse.  Thanks to all for help.
