i know we all do vending in our machines.  I do that with uturns and buzz bites and some gumballs.  But i just recently decided to start doing the buzz bites through the bird feeders where you sale 150 of them to a retail location.  i made my first sale today to a local gym and they are pumped.  Keith from powerup is sending me the bird feeders at his website under pos materials.  filled with them I sold them for .25 each.  I bought these from a guy selling out his stock and they cost me .06 a piece.  So .19 a piece for 150 and she is excited.  Whcih means she is going to be selling them to all her clients and buying more.  Pretty pumped.  I told my wife it is fun when someone gets excited about what you are doing and buys in.  I am pumped.  Thnaks for reading my rambling.

Now for the rest of the story. I went out to the town about 20 miles away to make that sale and sold 12 more of the birdfeeders. I sold them for 37.5 each and so almost a 500 day for 3 hours.

I know it is not vending, but it is a part of my vending story. i was one of those newbies who was too clueless to know any better. So I learned an expensive lesson. I have spent the last year trying to make it happen like i was told. I quickly learned and have been learning it doesn't happen that way. All of you can say a big no duh. So I had to gifure a new way to make this happen. I got the birdfeeders and targeted retail locations. If I had more time I would have sold more. In fact I have a potential of 18 more in teh next two days. If you would like to know more feel free to PM me.

It is exciting because i finally have seen something very good rather than barely surviving it other than a couple accounts. sorry to ramble.

wholesale distribution is close to vending. In stead of filling the machine and collecting quarters, wou get paid up front and if they sell them you get reorders

Great Job

dapreachaman,

I don't quite understand about these "bird feeders".What are they and do you have pics ?Where did you get them from? I guess I just don't understand selling Buzz Bites out of a bird feeder.

I think "bird feeder" is what he is calling the Point of sale display that holds the Buzz bites. You load it from the top and the buy them from the bottom of the display

Great job, keep it up.  If you keep doing that your BB machines will turn around.  Birdfeeders are an easy solution.  Once people start buying them from the birdfeeder, the tins will sell as well.  Congrats.....

thanks for the kind words.  The birdfeeders are going very well.  I have not even attempted the tins.  If the birdfeeders keep going well and there is a call for the tins then I may go down that road.  I have really had a good time with the birdfeeders and after every time I go out and make some sales every other monday I think I could do sales full-time, but then I come back to work at my real job and realize I love this more than anything, so just fun stuff on the side to make a few bucks and payoff a bad investment.

dapreachaman,

We have done well with the birdfeeders and they are a natural progression step to tins.  It is really cool to see that you have decided to make lemonade out of lemons.  How many buzz bite machines did you buy?  Where are you located?

i will try to post a pic as soon as i can figure it out.

midman ihave 46 machines.  i am in the central valley of california.  that is the place where all your food is grown except now they are stopping the water flow so they can keep some fish that is not even native to the sacramento delta.  Stupid.  Sorry to rant.

I am having a great time with the birdfeeders midman andmaybe looking into the tins in the future along with the foosh mints.

not sure how to post pic, but if you go to vroomfoods.com and click the buynow tab and scroll down you will see what they are.

midman are you running buzz bite machines?  If so how many and where are you?
