I don't have specifics for Louisiana but you can go to the Louisiana department of revenue website to see how to file and what to pay. Check with the secretary of state's business division to see if there are any licenses needed. Most places don't require vending licenses for bulk vending (quarter gumball & candy machines) but it's good to check with your state and local government just to make sure. I have a feeling that a lot of people with very small routes skip the tax thing altogether because the income is pretty low and it isn't worth the time and trouble to fool with it.
