seemore1 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Has anyone ever had a problem with a printing shop that would not print labels because of the trademark? I emailed a PMM label to a large office supply store O----- D----. They would not make the copies because of trade mark. I thought that odd since I am selling the mfg. product with the label. Craig
BudLeiser Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I had one comment... I brushed his comment away by selling "Its ok its for use in my vending machines" Just try other places, I use photo printing at CVS , Walgreens and Sam's Club.
havending Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 M&M Mars will provide product lables free of charge. So will Wonka, Just Born etc.
nam Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 havending, Where were you with this information when I was buying color ink cartridges like there was no tomorrow? Now you tell me this when I've already blown $100000000 in ink to printing my own! The M&M Peanut labels are the worst too. They use up all the yellow in the cartridge so even though you can print other stuff it will stop printing yellow. lol So tell us how to get these free labels for our machines and I'm gonna give you a POTD for it! Do I have to buy a pallet of M&M's direct from Mars? Man if you only knew how much money I've spent on ink printing these things. nam
MrEen Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Hi nam, I know your question was directed to havending (who is offline,) but I was sitting here reading your post and found myself with my arm shooting up in the air while screaming, "I know, I know!!!!" so I thought I would reply. Simply call 1-800-665-5095. You may(?) have to ask for "vending", then tell them what you want. I haven't done this myself as yet, but this is the info I received upon emailing Mars Snackfood US for just this information. Scott P.S. I have a large assortment of Epson print cartridges available for a nominal fee plus extravagant shipping charges if this could help you out in any way!
nam Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Scott, Great suggestion buddy! I'll try that number after the holiday weekend. Of course I've already spent my entire retirement savings on ink cartridges. These companies should just give every person in the world a free printer and hope they'd keep buying the ink. Can't believe how much they get for these cartridges! Oh man, my printer is a Lexmark! Otherwise I'd buy yours and get your started on your first million. nam
MrEen Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Well, I could scratch out the Epson stuff and pen in Lexmark if it would help get rid of this stuff! I recently bought a color laser printer and hope to never see the stack of ink cartridges again! (Yes, I know I'll need toner ... in a few years ... MAYBE!) Regarding your point about giving away the printer, I've heard Kodak is advertising something about realistic ink prices on that telafishun thingy. Might be worth looking into. Scott
nam Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Scott, Let me know how the color laser printer works out. I've given that some thought too but haven't dropped the quarters to do it yet. The toner cartages aren't cheap either. I use a laser printer for printing in black and it's great and probably should switch the color to laser as well. nam
