Desert Valley
Ok.. I've seen a posting in here about someone using an In One board with a USI 3130, and successfully connecting to a Satelite Machine. I've also seen a youtube video of it. The one posting I saw that mentioned the pairing said just Can's don't work with it.. Now.. What sucks about all of this, I tried calling Arnie at InOne for some advice and he just simply says it flat out doesn't work.... Can anyone provide me some guidance on if this will or won't work? I have a 3130 paired to a CB700 Satelite, and I installed a credit card reader for the main purpose of getting cash sales reporting only to find out its not working.. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. Here's the youtube video:
Southeast Treats
All I can add is my observation from trying to get an InOne board to operate a drink satellite... it read the motors and would try to vend, it seemed like the drink drop sensor was not getting picked up, so it would double vend on first attempt then go into sold out mode for that selection. I am guessing that their board can't see two drop sensors for whatever reason, otherwise it seemed like it would work. USI drink machines rely on the drop sensor for selection depth control as well as normal vending. I don't have the faintest idea how to get past that issue; good luck. AZVendor
First of all, a CB700 is the 12 column bottle/can vendor that is not a satellite, so you don't have your model numbers correct. You are probably using a CB300. Secondly, if InOne says their board doesn't support a USI satellite soda machine then it doesn't work. Why fight an uphill battle? Desert Valley
Yes.. You got me, I had another post in my head at the sametime.. I meant CB300. And why fight the uphill battle? Because from the other poster in the forums, he mentioned it would work for bottles... I'm using all bottles, so if it would work.. That'd be great, thats all I need. In my CB300 Satelite machine in particular, I'm vending all bottles (16.9 oz), and then a Monster selection. Do you think it would work, or did it fail for you on all things? AZVendor
Go ahead and try it with Bottle settings in each column. That goes for your Monster too since it uses the Bottle setting. If that is what works then you will have to stick with the Bottle setting only. You won't know unless you try it and you seem bent on doing it regardless of the outcome. You can only try, my best guess is without the drop sensor it will go into sold out mode no matter the container...
dwc31015
Inone says it’s a timing issue with the motors in the drink machine vs the snack machine. The vendor in the video may have put the inone in his 3100 series machine but will discover the drink satellite will not function properly.
