question about in field modification of machines.......

I am wanting to add a tattoo machine to one of my racks. I bought some that have a wing add on available and am curious if you think I should add on a wing or try to set up a free standing machine? I think there's room but don't want to have to construct the wing at the business, what do you think?

I hate working on machines in the business but sometimes it can't be helped. It depends on where the machine is located and if you can work without blocking the doorway in and out, etc. and making your owner upset. Or possibly do it at the slowest time of the day for the location.

I'd prefer to have it on the wing of the rack rather than seperate floor stand myself.

The wing would be optimal given the space where the rack is. I'll probably try to secure the machine to the wing and go in when the place is closed and connect the wing then.

How did you work it out when you first put the rack into the location? You can prolly handle it the same way.
