alanonnet99
I had an issue with the cooling so I put in a new cooling thermostat. What ever it makes sure the machine cools and not freezes. Then because the machine was full of soda syrup, I hosed down the inside of the machine with water. Now I can’t get rid of the sold out message on the display so that someone can actually use the machine. I can’t find anything wrong. Can someone help? Thanks. Southeast Treats
You may have shorted out some of the sold out switches if they were not dried out sufficiently before restoring power. Test the switches and replace as needed.
orsd
Or the switches are bad because it’s a f***ing P series. Other things I’d check would be the wiring.
Vendo Mike
Didn't some of the P series have an optic vend sensor viewing across the end of the delivery chute? If three's one of this one, that may be gunked up, bent out of alignment or otherwise damaged.
AZVendor
All of them did. That is just to cancel the vend credit. I would bet that syrup is in many of the vend sensors that are on the motors since it apparently froze the cans leading to the new thermostat and syrup in the machine. Make sure the machine is completely dry by running a fan on the open cabinet for a few days and then try again. You might also have to reprogram the entire logic board - and that ain't fun.
