My location called and said that my coin mech keeps spitting dollar bills out any ideas why??

I have a machine on location and the location owner called and said that it was kicking the dollar bills back out at thim on all selections. This is a dixe narco 368 model. Any ideas?

Is the a way to service or clean the dollar bill receptor.?

We usually clean them by soaking a bill in isopropyl alcohol and running it through a few times. Having them kick back out like this actually makes that part easier. After 5 or more times doing this, try resetting by cutting the power (we have DN501's and just disconnect the validator harness for a few seconds then connect it back together.) If you're going to be doing this at the board, you should cut the power to the whole machine first, but I've never had problems doing this when there is a harness connection close to the validator while the machine still has power.

You can get some dollor bill accepter cleaners on ebay cheap, has cleaning cemicals on them allready just send them through the mech a few times and you would be surprized how ditry they will be.
