I am loading 5 machines into my car right now, and I dont intend to come back home till there gone.

tired of lookin at em, sitting there not making any money.

Good luck JP. One nice thing with those Vendstars is they are very light weight and can be carried in while trying to locate. I like rolling machines in sometimes on my little Magna cart so they can see the machine.

Let us know how it goes today. I like your attitude about not coming home until they're gone!!! A long time ago I used to go out and work and literally not have the money for gas to get back home. Had to make a sale or get stranded. lol

I feel your pain.  However I have like 10 double 2" venders that need a home, but it's gonna cost me about $400 just to buy enough product before I can place them.  I mean, I can't place machines if I don't have product, right?

Darryl,

Just a thought but maybe put the $400 on plastic and pay it back with the money you make from the machines. Or just do 5 of the doubles for $200. Hard to get all 10 located at the same time anyway, right?

Great idea Nam!!! I was just wondering what i was going to do with this rack I'm refurbing right now ( 5 eagles on the bottom row and 2 super 80s, 1 super 80 sticker / tattoo machine on the top). ther is anopen space on the top for one more machine. not sure what to put there yet. but anyways its going to cost me a small fortune to fill it. any advice as to what products to put in it to keep the start up cost down?

and to the thread jackers..... dude, if you have a location for a rack, burn that plastic up and get it out there. fill it up half way, do whatever is necessary to get that on location soon. its making you zero dollars in your garage....

I'm back. the machines are gone! I got a salesman inside here.

placed 2 oaks and 3 vendstars. very good day.

Hey, great job, JP!  I've got my machines just about ready, so this is certainly inspiring.

Quick question -- did you place your machines on a commission basis or charity?  I'm pretty sure I want to go the commission route myself, so was just curious.  Basically, how'd you sell yourself and your machines?

Awesome Job JP.

I got two new machines today and went to place them. Got three no's cuz they are francises and the parent company won't let them. Got two owners phone numbers to contact to place two machines. WooHoo.

Also got a great lead for a new pizza joint.

JP, you inspired me to go out this afternoon and get er done.

i placed 2 on no commission or charity.

i placed 2 on a tapering commission. (pay a percentage at the beginning, but eventually its no commission.) I knew this person though....

i placed one on charity.

also, have 2 follow up calls to make for possible future placements......

JP,

I agree with Kelly. You are the man! Guarantee you feel better than if you had paid to get them from a locator and bet you got alot better chance these will be better locations than from a locator as well!

way to go man. It is an awesome feeling to know you have done it. It is fun to walk out of a place knowing you just landed it. Good work, the next best feeling is when you go and collect the quarters. May they all be full of quarters and almost out of candy.

Well I followed your lead and went to fill one of my full fine location and droped off a vendstar.

On the way back, I stoped by a brand new apartment complex, and asked about vending. They do not have anything yet. I got the card of the manager and I will stop by Mon to see if they want a soda machine

Great work everybody, this is getting me motivated for my push, which will be starting on June 8th, 2009!  :)

Very good job everyone making steps to move forward!

JP, you just gave me some motivation I needed badly. I have 3 NW doubles and a Vendstar to place and I've been feeling the agony of defeat the past two weeks. Just got the 3 NW's and the Vendstar has to be relocated because of the business shutting down at the end of the month.

I never had this much trouble locating. Gotta hit the pavement next week again with new vigor injected from JP. ;)

i am glad I could motivate! Sometimes I get in a mode, and just do it until its done. I thought that is was going to take a lot longer than it did. I think when you speak to someone they can feel your confidence, and determination.
