I feel pretty lucky to know a guy who lives only about 5 miles from me who has a staff of people that locate machines all over the county. because i am local to him he dose all of mine in person but i know that he also dose quite a few a week over the phone telemarketing style. if you are seeking placement of 1-1000 machines give paul a call at: 607-785-8108 and let him know that nick sent you and i am positive he will treat you with the correct respect and you will be more pleased with the locations he provides you with. feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about the services that he has provided me with and my feedback i would be happy to help.

It would be to his benefit to come here and present his business so everyone can get an idea of how the company operates. With a web site they might see more business as well. If you could get them to donate a free placement to the Spring Fever fundraising event that could be a huge plus to them as well, PM me if you can get that to happen.

Beer,In the past I would have agreed but given the track record we have with quality locators, he may want to stay away. The increase in business that he will get from us will effectively shut his operation down or slow it to a crawl at the very least. Most locators underestimate the volume of business they will get from us and are totally unprepared. If he joins, everyone here will eventually suffer lackluster performance from a once great locator. It has happened 3 times on here in the past. I won't name names but a quick review of the locators who are or were active here shows a definite downward spiral pattern in the quality of their work and customer satisfaction from when they came aboard to present. I really meant this post to be a satirical one but after re-reading it, I see a bit of truth to it. Steve

Many companies have suffered due to accepting any and all business transactions and not having the resources or trained personnel in place to perform the necessary tasks. I know that no salesrep wants to turn down business, but in some cases that is the best thing to due. I know in my software days, the regional manager would succumb to the pressure of filling an order to meet a quota (or get a bigger bonus). The manager would literally throw unqualified bodies at the client as most were untrained and unproven college kids. Well, you can imagine the end result. A very unhappy customer due to the work not being done properly and a whole lot of free time or refunds given to the customer to make it right and clean up the mess. Jax

I have only used one other locating company that turned out to be a bit of a "chop shop" operation but i can say that paul dose them a lot cheaper than many others that i have looked into.

Rustinm Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 OK, ive just counted out locations. THIS ONLY APPLIES IF WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PAUL SAWICKI! Of the 22 locations presented to me to locate only 8 machines actually located! Of the machines that were rejected, some didnt know i was coming, some said no and i was told about the location anyway. Some people didnt understand that they were even talking about a vending machine! This company was absolutly horrible, i will never use them again and i would NEVER refeer anyone to them! They did not set up appointments, they did not call to comfirm anything, and again only 8/22 machines went into the locations! Ive been using midwest and have not had a location go bad yet!

T BIRD Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 If I was a locator, I would definitely NOT come to this site and endure the amount of questioning and challenging that goes on from us. It's a lose/lose situation IMO. If the company locates well, they will get swamped. The first mistake or rejection by a location will be scrutinized and questioned big time by us.

lurtsman Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 The cards may be stacked, but for the vendors lucky enough to find this safe haven... There is a reason most locators are trash, and it's because they aren't being held to standards in a public arena. Most prefer to act like biz-ops and scam people. Any locator coming onto this forum at the very least will be considering running a business on the up and up. The temptation to cheat and steal from vendors is simply too great for the majority of people to resist IMO. If they come on the forums, they know there is a reward for giving good service. IF they treat us with respect, and give us what we paid for, they will have an endless stream of customers.

I could go into great length about my experience, but it is not worth my time. In short, glad I only gave him an order for 2 machines and I know I will never see my refund that has been promised. gr88products Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Hi Guys As im sitting over the pond from you guys in sunny Britain, i cant really comment on your locators over there. However i would love to give a locator a try, in order to free up some of my time. Unfortunately i cant seem to find any companies over here that offer locating as a service. Oh well i guess its gonna be my responsibility until i can find one. Maybe i should set up a locating service, if i cant find one, im sure other people are in the same boat!
