clvending Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Let me add another to the list of locators to consider: Top Notch Locating http://topnotchlocating.com/ Tanner and Stephanie have found me very profitable locations. You only pay them after they secure you a location. They have a 30 day warranty. Give them a shot and tell them Lee from C&L Vending Services sent you. Lee
caserri Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Lee! Welcome to the board! I'm glad to see you here. Thanks for adding a locator to the list. I hope that we can build a community of locator watchdogs here. There needs to be a place where people can go to get good information on these companies. Your input is very much appreciated! Steve
KPower Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Just a suggestion but it might be helpful if you provided the cost of services. If a locator finds you a great location but they charge you an arm and a leg they might qualify as a scammer.
caserri Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 KPower, That might be a good idea. One must remember though that prices do fluctuate from one operator to the next depending on geographic location or volume discounts. Its good to have a general idea of how much a locator charges as long as we all understand that the locator is not bound to any terms posted by our users, and their particular cost may vary. I would like to, at the very least, see a website address with contact or pricing info so we can all do our due diligence in shopping for the best value before we purchase. Steve
quartermaine Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Hello Lee, Does Top Notch have a minimum machine count in order to start work? I am about ready to start putting machines out and am looking for a good locator.
clvending Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 They do not have a minimum, however I would start w/ at least 3. It will give you a good idea how they can work in your area. Good Luc!!!! Lee:cool:
quartermaine Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 thank you. im a bit nervous about the whole thing but im going to give them a shot.
baxsonvending Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I have emailed and called these locators and not a single response back. What gives??
clvending Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 I do not have a clue. You made the effort to contact them. All you can do is see if they respond. However, I would not be waiting by the phone. I would contact other locators and see if they can meet your needs in your area. I like to start small and see how they do. If they meet my expectations I will give them additional business. Locators are a service. Like anything else, if you do not like the service, you go somewhere else. I would also check to see if there are any locators in your local area. Good Luck!!!! Lee
Pilot22 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I just tried calling their 866 phone number and it is out of service.
clvending Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 I am sorry to hear that. I was satisfied w/ most of the locations they were able to obtain for me. One averages $48/month for a double head. I would also try Sonya at First choice. Good Luck Lee
rogersmith Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Is Top Notch Locating still in business? Has anybody used them lately?
Poplady1 Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 The last time I spoke to Tanner he was leaving the vending business. It has been about a year.
