question about how/who to ask to place your machine

Hello!

I am really excited and interested in starting my own vending machine business. I have been thinking about having one or two machines in my area and I was just wondering... How do you ask someone if you can have a machine in their facility/business? Are there any places off limits? Also.. how do you know who to call and ask? I was thinking our local bowling alley, college, i don't know I hate calling people it makes me nervous.

Word of warning. Be careful about buying new. There are several "companies" who will attempt to steal your money.
