Boazcat Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I thought I remember reading somewhere about running a hose to the snack portion of a combo to keep the snacks cool in the summer. I've got two warehouse locations that would love to keep their candy bars, but it gets too hot here in Oklahoma. (No...they don't have anywhere air-conditioned to put them.) Is that possible? Michael
ageevending Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 keeping chocolate cool is key to my business being in the desert area of california where temps reach 100 regularly. What your taking about will cause an air leak in your soda machine and it will freeze up and the compress will burn out before you keep your chocolate cool. 1. move machine out of direct sunlight 2. make sure machine is some where that gets some A/C 3. if you can't do those... pull the chocolate. If you have full size snack machines... you can by after-market coolers, they cost about 200 but they work pretty good.
