Tim Hughes
I have a vendo 480p pepsi machine. I recently purchased this used.. I have 16.9 oz bottles in it, 2 deep in each column. Cans set on 2. I believe I have the proper shims [2] in each column.. most every time I vend one product it will dispense 2... please help
AZVendor
Are you sure it vends 2, then 2 then 2? It should vend 2, then 0, then 2, then 0 if it ever vends 2 together. You can get close to the setup with the following: Cam setting is 2, rear spacer set at 10, a grey clip in position 1 on the gage bar, gage bar in location 2 and a formed metal can shim PN 1060686 in position 2 (the only position it fits in.) Vendo Mike
Sounds like the either incorrect shim, clip is missing, gauge bar is in the wrong rear position, the gauge bar is bent or the motor is coasting.
Tim Hughes
The issue was in fact a shim issue... to save a few hundred dollars I used a thick piece of cardboard sandwiched between the two plastic shims... everything works as it should now... thanks for all of your help
AZVendor
Another redneck too cheap to buy a proper shim.
