Fermo Vending
Just curious what everyone uses to service their validators. The sensor, the wheels, and the rubber track?
Vendo Mike
Alcohol and clean, lint-free cloth for the sensors and rollers. The belts just need to be clean but if they get stiff/slick, they need to be replaced. Don't use any cleaner that will leave a residue
AZVendor
In 35 years and in dusty Arizona I never once cleaned belts or rollers. I have scratched build ups off of rollers and dusted off sensors and bill tracks though. That is always enough to keep a validator running for a long time. When it then quits it gets rebuilt.
AngryChris
Yeah I won't lie, if I can't fix it by wiping sensors, it gets sent off for repair. I actually had one yesterday that either has something on the belt or drive motor problem. It's getting sent off too. I don't have time!
