USI 3199 series I think

Recommended Posts

I’ve got a couple newer AMS machines that are great, but came across a couple machines for sale that seem like a decent deal. Guy is selling 2 of theses USI machines with the locations for $2,000 total. Even if the locations aren’t good I figure the machines are worth it alone. Haven’t seen them in person yet, so not sure if they have Ivend or not. Are these USI machines worth it assuming everything works?

Thanks for your help!

I have that machine. Same one. It’s been running along for 4+ years without any single issue.

mine has drop sensors for guaranteed vend. Judging by the decal on the front, I don’t think that one does.  The dual spirals vend pretty ok regardless. Product pushers would help the candy bar single spirals.

it more than likely has an F80 board by coinco. Which, is cashless compatible with the right eprom (still available for now) if it doesn’t already have it. Though, mines got the latest eprom and still won’t report cash sales. I think Inone makes a board for it though.

2k seems a little high for the machine alone. On location full of product, it might be an ok price. What soda machine is next to it? If you tell me the usi 3189, good machine, but it won’t do cashless without an inone board (which is still in the works and not available for purchase.... yet)

CB300 slave unit (3179). I would leave it unless you need higher capacity. Good machine. It has drop sensor. Vends cans and bottles Flawlessly. It is a slave so it needs the snack machine (which I think is an hr32). And being that it uses a slave pretty much confirms it has the f80 board by coinco.

solid price for those two working machines on location. The cb300 is a bit tight to repair being so small, but I’ve gotten used to to. Noisy condenser fans are common. Not very expensive but the deck comes out the back to replace. Really not a huge deal once you’ve done it. Plus I had to replace a motor one time. That’s it.

I actually have that snack machine (only 2 wide version) and that exactly slave soda machine in my garage waiting to go out. I like usi equipment actually. Made locally (to me) in Des Moines... if only their tech support and parts for legacy equipment wasn’t lacking lately.

Right now, for 2k for both. I think it’s an ok buy with or without location.

This is the other 3129 and 3038 drink that came with the first set as part of the deal for $2k total.

The snack machine is fine and only missing a single motor, which seems pretty easy to fix. I put a fresh lightbulb in and seems to connect to the board okay but no lights. Should I try to replace the harness or try to replace with LEDs?
Drink machine has one selection that doesn’t work(machine doesn’t even recognize the selection) but otherwise works fine. Seems like a nightmare to repair just by looking at the inside. Thinking about just junking it. Apologies in advance if I should have started a new thread. Thanks!!

You need to replace the FS2 starter along with the light bulb. The soda motor might have a bad sold out switch, bad motor switch or is stuck not at home. If you didn't fill that column it's not hard to replace the motor or the switches.

Which soda machine did you actually buy? The one from the first picture or the second picture?

the last one you posted is more than likely serpentine style and uses r12 Freon. That being the case I don’t know how much money I’d put into it.
