divot
I have a number of royal vendors G3's that have nayax VPOS on them. One of my 660's will not recognize when a selection is sold out/ machine doesn't receive the drop sensor signal/ and charges the customer without realizing product did not vend. Has anyone ever experienced this? Possibly just needs software upgrade?
AZVendor
Did you check that you have the latest eprom in the logic board, and that you forced a firmware update on the Nayax?
divot
I have a record of the software version in each of my machines, but have never checked to see if there are any newer versions. Would that be something available on Royal Vendors site?

divot
Thanks. I found the most current revision for that machine is higher than the software currently on it. So I ordered on. While on the topic of software. I realized a few more of my machines do not have the newest software. Such as, my blue board Bevmax 4 is not running the newest software revision. If I am not experiencing issues or problems with those machines - Should I still update the software? Thanks again for your help.
AZVendor
Only upgrade if you are having issues.
divot
I found the royal vendors software revision available through companies like capital vending. Do software revisions numbers always ascend? The one available is numbered 67015-10. The machine I am having problems with has software 67131-15 and most of my other royal vendors drop machines show 67325-02. Could I possibly downgrade if I install the available 67015-10 ?
divot
I should probably start a new posting with these software questions. If anyone has similar questions hopefully, they can find them under this post named- Nayax....
Vendo Mike
Software revisions normally ascend but the firmware may or may not depending on the mfg. For instance, Vendo has the 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 and 12.6 firmwares. The 12.6 is not newer than a 12.1, that is just the base firmware for the glassfront machine where the 12.1 is the base firmware for our old "trade" door stack machines like the 721. 12.2 and is for Coke branded 3DVis doors, 12.3 is for Pepsi's HVV door and 12.4 is for all Chameleon doors. Each firmware will have revisions to update for newer card readers etc as needed. I think Royal followed a similar method but you should ask around a bit. In your case, I think the 670, 671 and 673 numbers are the indicator of firmware and after the dash is the revision number for that firmware. It's been a long time since I worked on those so I could be mistaken.
Humorme15
What was the solution? I have a royal g3 660 software p/n 67015-8 with a Nayax VPOS touch that won't register cash/coin transactions. Nayax pushed the latest firmware update but no luck. I'm hoping I don't need to update the machines control board. Has anyone had this issue? divot
I have yet to find the solution for that machine- it only does a few hundred a month. So, my locations with more sales obviously get much more attention. But I will update if I get it figured out. Thanks
Vendo Mike
I think Royal is still selling parts. You should be able to call them and confirm the latest revision for your machine by serial number
jcardenas0110
Any update on this? I have a 501e and a Vendo 721 that I setup with Nayax VPOS, but neither are working (one is giving a VOO and VO1 message) and the 501e just has the Nayax logo on the screen (can't communicate with server). I went ahead and ordered the most up-to-date eproms for both but wanted a little reassurance lol.
Vendo Mike
What do Errors V00 and V01 indicate? Has Nayax given you the error code? No comms could mean no signal (check your antenna) or harness missing or insecurely installed. Depending on the 721, you might need an update. 12.1 should be Rev 35 12.4 is up to Rev 50 now but 44 would likely handle the NAYAX.
AngryChris
I don't know which models will work but InOne is coming out with a new board kit for royal 650s. I think some other models might work but probably not chain-driven machines. But those were mostly (if not all) coke assets.
jcardenas0110
Hey everyone, so the DN 501e worked after a little assistance on the backend from Nayax and the Vendo 721 works like a charm now that I upgraded the eprom. All up and running! Thank you.
