Soda Pop Vending
I’ve started putting Starbucks Cans 11oz cans inside of my Royal 650 and I was hoping it would sell pretty well. So far, I’ve had 5 cans burst in the machine while exiting. In comparison, I’ve only bought 24. Thankfully, they’ve only burst when I’ve tried to test vend them. The rest jammed when others tried to buy, but whenever I go and test vend the cans they come out just fine. I have a shim put in place because before they would double vend. Has anybody else had issues with either this specific drink or in general with cans in a Royal? Gizmo Vending
What you’ve got to do is figure out why they are busting. I’m assuming they jam and the motor is putting to much force and it crushes the can to a point it opens? I sale the 15 oz cans but in AMS combos, bevmax and RVV 500’s. I’ve Never put em in a stack vendor. The 15 oz will be the same size as a monster can. Is the diameter and length the same as a 12 oz can of soda, if it is then it should vend like a soda can. Soda Pop Vending
It crushes near the bottom of the can. Same place every time. I’ve reduced the amount of drinks in there so it should be fine, but it’s still an issue. I think it’s because the can is not really pressurized so it breaks easier. AZVendor
Get it out of there. That package is not designed for vending. Yes, the lack of pressurization is part of the problem.
NYCandyMaN
If it's the same size as monster, then it should be set up as single vend large item, it might not be clearing something, btw, exactly where in the same place is it popping? Soda Pop Vending
I think I figured it out. It was pushed all the way back in the column and rubbing against the sharp part of the shim, causing it to rupture near the side of the can. I gave it more space, moved it forward, and all test vends have been successful.
AZVendor
Front columns pushed to the back, rear columns pushed to the front. Adjust front and rear spacers for 1 finger of space between spacer and products.
