labryan3
I'm working on a USI 3502 drink machine that quit cooling. The compressor starts and runs for a couple seconds then shuts off continuously. There's no charge port to check pressure. What should I look at? Thanks in advance.
AZVendor
Try putting a hard start kit on it. The crappy Danfoss start relays and start caps are very weak and don't last as long as US ones do.

tblake05
https://snackattacknow.com/fsi-fawn-usi-wittern-vendnet-snack-soda-machine/ Scroll down about 4 rows. Maybe AZ can help you if you need the one with the capacitor or not.
AZVendor
Much cheaper on Amazon. You want a Supco RCO 0410 or what is now UCRO 410 for a 1/4 -1/3 HP compressor. This replaces the cap and start relay.

NYCandyMaN
here's another one for you guys, got a 501e, plugged into extension cord, the machine was working fine, took away the extension, saw a spark, checked wires, fixed the wires, plugged back in without extension cord, machine sparked up again from the plug, i have a feeling that its a bad wire, there is no protection or cutoff on the wire, machine will not start, i will be installing new plug and wire, do you think i should replace the relay as well, as it may have also sparked up? AngryChris
I'm not an electrician but it sounds like loose wiring to me either with the plug or the outlet. Maybe the extension cord makes better contact with the plug or outlet than the machine does when plugged in direct. If it's the outlet, I'd expect you to also see sparks if you plug in the machine to the extension cord first and the extension cord to the outlet last. That should indicate a faulty outlet if so.
