Vendo 721 No Power?

Recommended Posts

Have a 721 that seems to not have power at all - fuse looks good, and evaporator fan isn't running.  Outlet itself checks out.  Any suggestions?

Is the plug at the bottom left plugged in?  So what happened for the machine to lose power?   Did it work before?   And when you say the outlet checks out I’m assuming this was checked with a multimeter and or outlet tester?   Grab your 50 ft. or longer extension cord and plug into another outlet that is on a different circuit.   In other words an outlet with a different breaker see if that can power up the machine.  If this does work DO NOT LEAVE PLUGGED INTO EXTENSION CORD!!!!!

To gizmo's point, if the machine works fine on a different outlet, then the problem seems to be the power source.  If you get nothing on any outlet, then it's something between the plug and the transformer I'd say but I'd start with the plug/cord first.  It's also very possible that your plug came undone at the bottom of the cabinet.  Also, I have many 721 with an inline GFCI on them.  They do fail and the simple fix is to just buy a new one.  They are a little pricey last I checked though.
