Dnorris Posted June 22 Share Posted June 22 Are there any US manufacturers or vending machine models that are similar to the smart vending machines in China? I’m talking about the ones with large touch, screens, smart software, elevator lifts, push or conveyor vending, dispersement of the product from the middle and not bottom of the machine…etc. s I understand the risks of buying from China, poor parts, poor customer service…. So I was wondering if anybody knew of any US manufacturers that had vending machines similar what fresh bowl (attached pic) and farmers fridge use. I do see that they develop the software for the touch screens and integrate them on existing vending machines. Offhand, do you know if they also supply vending machines or is it just the software? Vendo Mike Posted June 23 Share Posted June 23 We offer a Smart stack vendor. (V21i). I've added the specs to the downloads section on here. V21 stackers cabinet with a 32" touchscreen on a thermoformed signface. Has a VMS, remote monitoring of inventory and machine health as well as remote adjustment of pricing, discounts. With an added subscription you can also run advertising on the 32" touchscreen to run specials and enjoy a secondary revenue stream. They are going to give me some options as well on how they can integrate their software into some other existing vending machine suppliers. Vendo Mike Posted June 23 Share Posted June 23 The V21i is available today. Lead time for a unit would likely be September (ish) as we aren't stocking inventory. There are mandatory monthly recurring fees for that go along with the "smart" board and it's firmware. There are also subscriptions such as OnSign that can be added and carry monthly fees as well. The "add-ons" are generally monthly subscriptions that can be removed on request but there is a minimum requirement from the Smart side that cannot be circumvented.
