Charlie613
Hey Y'all, My non-handy partner went to a location and tried installing an EProm on the board and blew the board. Anyone have any extra Studio 3 ST (OEM or InOne) boards floating around? Seeking a replacement, will pay of course.
AZVendor
Get an exchange board from D&S or Vendors Exchange.
tblake05
How did the board go bad? Install the eprom backwards? If so maybe just the new eprom is bad. Check for bent pins as well.

tblake05
Can try: https://www.vendorsrepair.com/pcbrepair.html#AP I haven’t used them yet but I inquired not long ago and at that time Dion said the turnaround time for board repairs is 7-10 days. Factor in shipping both ways. Couldn’t hurt to give them a try.

AngryChris
I recommend you order an InOne kit to replace your stock board. The stock boards don't play well with card readers and you should be able to get the new board much faster than sending it off for repair.

I spoke with Arnie (INCREDIBLE Support guy, btw) and they have one left; but see above, $130 vs $350, no brainer. Will just have to make sure the new one has the new EProm or add it myself. Note, the old board worked 1000% no hiccups at all with my reader (Parlevel Papyrus/Canteloupe Eport Engage) but I needed Dexing. Thanks
lacanteen
Are you sure this is an ST Studio? The ST does not have an EPROM, it utilizes a square flash chip that can only be installed one way. If it's an SL Studio, In-One should have a kit.
