Vendo model 511317036 basic unit v480p blowing fuses

Hello everyone - 

     I have a vendo model 511317036 basic unit v480p that was just moved to a new location by my moving guy.  When I got there to stock the machine, I noticed that the led screen was not on but the machine was cooling just fine.  The fuse on the right (there are two to choose from) is clearly blown and I have changed it several times with the same result.  I cannot get power to the coin Mech, validator, or led screen.  Can anyone point me in the right direction to figure out what is going on?

start by disconnecting your coin mech and validator. If the display works, power down and add the coin mech. If it blows the fuse then your problem is likely the coin mech.  If it does not blow, add in the validator and see if it works or blows the fuse .  You can narrow down the issue that way.

I tried unhooking the Mech and validator - still no luck.  Could it be the board maybe?  Or the transformer?

Assuming the machine was functional before being moved, I'd be looking for a pinched harness.  If the board is shorted, you should be able to smell it when you pull the cover.

Thanks for the response.  Do you mean a pinched harness going to the main board?  What is the best way to find it?  Just unhooking and rehooking everything to the board?

You have to do the troubleshooting yourself.  Follow the wire diagram to see what that fuse controls and that's where you start.
