Dixie Narco 501e hvv control board

Recommended Posts

What happened that it died?  Sure it’s not the fuses?   Where I’m at American Vending Sales has a board exchange service.
Capital Vending, D&S, Vendors Exchange, just ti name a few, will have em as well.

Thanks. Looks like the board itself has a short on it because whenever I put a fuse in it, it’s blowing the fuse. I checked all the motors and nothing is locked up so I’m thinking maybe a power surge or some thing happened that fried the board.

The fuse is blowing for a reason and blows to protect the board.   You’ll be able to buy the 1 and 6 amp fuses locally at auto parts store or hardware stores.  The 1.6 amp fuse (probably the 1 you’re needing) will have to come from someplace that sales electronic stuff or online.   You’ll need a few with you because you will insert fuse trying to see what is causing it to blow.

Unplug everything from the board except the power and then if the fuse blows is a short in the board.  If not then add one circuit at a time to see which one blows it.

Thanks all for the tips and recommendations. Since I’m in Maryland, I contacted Capital Vending. Those guys are awesome. I purchased a new board, picked it up locally and installed it.

Not sure what caused the old board to go bad but it was definitely the board causing the fuses to blow.

back in action!
