Sbendahan
Hi everyone, First off I am totally new to the vending machine industry. I have no experience. I will be removing a cantaloupe reader and replace with a nayax VPOS . Question: are they the same size and should be plug and play without modifications? Unscrew cantaloupe to simply screw in the VPOS? Hoping it is as I am not that much of a handy man on top of that not so much worried about plugging it in afterwards , more concerned about the actual installation part thanks
Gizmo Vending
You must be a sucker for punishment wanting to switch from Cantaloupe to Nayax. You should be able to remove and install, but that will depend on how well the 1st device was drilled. Uninstall and put your Nayax pos device and see if you need to drill further. tblake05
Nope cantaloupe came installed on a lot of wittern machines from the factory. I switched all mine over as well because cantaloupe, at the time, had some ungodly processing and monthly fee compared to nayax. I don’t regret it. insyallation is straightforward. Everything should bolt right in place. don’t forget nayax offers 100.00 credit towards new equipment if you send in competitors equipment. Talk to your rep. Tblake05- another question if I may : the nayax reader is on my account and completed all KYC with them. I have access to my online portal as well. Once I install and plug in will it be activated for use instantly? Is there some type of process to go threw on that end ? thanks

I've had about a 50/50 shot with success with equipment working right out of the box. Sometimes I have to call nayax to trobleshoot.
tblake05
What machine? I suspect a USI/Wittern/FSI with a GVC control board if you are removing cantelope and installing nayax.
