Jlkrumholz01
I just got a mag50b I'm looking to install on a recently purchased snack machine. Specifically it is a snackshop6000 if it matters. It didn't come with a wire harness an do have absolutely no idea what to but or how to set it up. I found the manual but all it tells me is to plug in the harness and has a diagram I don't understand. Any links or information would be appreciated thank you. Vendo Mike
The Mag50B has a Single Price plug (large connector) and an MDB plug (small connector). Unfortunately, unless your machine has been updated to MDB, I don't think that DBV will plug into an AP6000. Also, that has a "bottler" mask on it so it won't likely physically mount in the machine. You would need a Mag30 or 50 SA (serial/pulse comms). Since the unit likely had a Mars VFM in it before (if anything) you might consider an MEI 2500 series with the proper mask. AZVendor
What validator was in it before. As Mike said, go back in with a VN2500 with a snack mask. That is truly the best validator for it. A Coinco would require a snack mask and then you'd still need to interface it and figure out what you were going to do with the circuit board box on the side of the Coinco (it would be in the way). For the Mars to fit you'll want a 500 ct bill box with a side opening door on it. You will also need top and bottom brackets if you didn't have a Mars in it before and then an interface/power harness.
Jlkrumholz01
Is this an MDP plug. It looks like what I see on YouTube and golpher but does not connect to the coin Despenser so I am not sure.
AngryChris
Nope, that's a 9-pin plug for pulse interface. An MDB plug is similar but has 6 pins.
Vendo Mike
What you have in your hand would plug directly into a VN2500 series DBV.
