Magiccity726
I changed the compressor two weeks ago. I came back and the compressor is frozen. The thermostat cannot be more than 2 years old. I unplugged the plug that turns the front door off. Plugged back in and now the display and bill acceptor are off. Could the issue be the board? NYCandyMaN
there should be a fuse on the board, also check your wires as some rodents like to chew them up, compressor may be low on freon, thermostats do break, even if they are new, they call them defective
AZVendor
You must mean the evaporator is frozen. Make sure the door closes snug, that the delivery port door closes flush with the frame, that you put mastic around the freon lines going into the cabinet and that the drain hose actually drains. The thermostat should have a clip in capillary tube which will fit into a slot in the evaporator shroud to the right of the evaporator. Make sure the cap tube doesn't touch metal along it's path and that the thermostat is set to 3 1/2 from zero.
