Coinco Vortex Problem

Yes, I know most people hate the Vortex coin mech but I have a handful of them and up until now I've never had any issues.  I plan to use them until they die.  With that being said my Vortex isn't dispensing quarters even though it's full of quarters.  It dispenses dimes and nickels instead and gives the correct change.  Just does not dispense quarters.  Does anyone know what the problem could be?  Thanks in advance,

Check there arent any jammed quarters or stuck together.  Then swap it for an MEI cf7000.  Or send yours in for rebuild if they even do that anymore.

With the Vortex, when it messes up on you, and they all will, that is when you throw them away.

Yes, the underlying issue is that it is a vortex.

Well, you said that you wanted to use them until they die. Well, mission accomplished-this one is dead. 

All joking aside this is how Vortexes typically fail- they stop paying out properly cause their worn out. 

Best bet is a replacement mech that isn’t a Vortex.
