Glitch
Thank you in advance for your input. Just throw me your thoughts on each. What would your first and second choice be and why. Best for starting out. Also, how do you guys handle transactions? Is just having the key means you own it? How do you handle transfer of cc readers? Specimen A: $700 asking price "Dixie Narco 414. Fully functional. Does have damage on front panel. I have no place to put this machine so I am selling to someone who needs it. New compressor as of last year. Is cold and ready to be used." I think "ready to be used" is a stretch. How much would the front panel cost to replace? It looks like it ate someone's money and they decided to punch it. I'm assuming its safe to powerspray it down and not get any water inside while it's unplugged in order to clean it up. Please let me know your thoughts.Specimen B: Nevermind, it's a seaga. Moving on.Specimen C : $1700 asking price No description.Specimen D : $1950 asking price "Crane National Vendors model 148 Vending machine, credit card ready. I bought this to put in a small office, but am now moving due to work. It works great and has a board that is capable of taking a credit card reader. Everything on it works and it has been stored well." Specimen E: $2000 asking price (I'm assuming for both) "One snack machine and one drink machine. Both work with minor issues on the snack machine. Priced for the sale of the machines. Does not come with location. Ask about any questions you have." Specimen F: $3200 asking price "Selling this 2015 AMS combo vending machine. DOES NOT INCLUDE THE LOCATION. Has a new credit card reader installed." Specimen G: $5500 asking price "Selling two vending machines with the location. Serious inquiries only! $5,500 for both machines."
AZVendor
Jeez. Here goes. A - the sign will run you under $200 plus shipping from NBS. As a single price it's too high. Maybe 400 since the signface is broken. C - Single price DN368 or 501T. Worth $500. D - Nat 148 with an aftermarket logic board so it will be MDB. Worth $1200-1500. E - Glasco GS2 which is a Nat 148 with a one of a kind keypad. Pass. The soda is another single price DN maybe a 79" machine but I can't tell with the odd fisheye picture. Worth $500 if only single price. F - AMS Sensit 2 or maybe Sensit 3. Newest of all of them. $2500. G - Another AMS Sensit machine and the motherlode - a Baby Bevmax that is almost impossible to find. $4000.
Glitch
Thanks for the info. The baby bevmax being hard to find - Does that mean parts are going to be hard to get?https://asintl.us/dixie-narco-3561-baby-bev-max/ Is this a website I can put into my "reliable" list? Are parts for the most part interchangeable? I'm assuming the MDB connector just makes all the inside mechs work together no matter what brand or board. I'm also assuming the motors in the back and coils are standardized. Please let me know if I'm wrong. Just by having a newer machine, have the parts become standardized that you can basically mix and match components?
AZVendor
Your last 4 questions don't make sense. Are you asking those questions about one machine or in general. The Baby Bev has readily available parts, it's just that the small cabinet is very rare. And I know nothing about that website.
AngryChris
Just my opinion but I have no interest in a bottle drop bevmax. About the only people that should get them are the ones with experience with them and like them.
ABCVending
I have a bunch of the bottle drops - have never seen the small cabinet in person. The Dixies work for us, but you will have product loss in some locations - you can shake drinks right out of them. Lot of operators don't like the bottle drops so they can be had pretty cheap - we ended up buying a couple of big lots of them and sold off most of the stackers so pretty much nothing but the Dixies - simplifies parts inventory and you get pretty good at troubleshooting and working on the machines if those are the only model you have in service. Easy to move around compared to a stacker - no moving parts except the gate relays...
Glitch
What is it and how much is this one worth?
AZVendor
It looks like a Vendo V511 Univendor 2 which, since it has MDB coinage means it has a V5.1 logic board in it and also means it can never do a credit card reader. I'd give maybe $600 for it. Parts are getting hard to come by, especially the gage bar links, and you might even have trouble getting column shims and new gage bars if any are bent. To avoid shaking, I use two mending plates on top of the drink and snack machine with self tapping screws. it dramatically reduces shaking of the machine for free product.

This is what I do as well. They can't really 'shake' the machine as much as just moved it sideways. Just make sure you keep up with maintenance on the them i.e. use correct shims, clean pusher strips regularly, replace broken pusher, etc., and they do really well.
