Sbendahan
Hi, As a newbie in this industry, I have over stocked on chips. That’s ok as I learn as I go.. I have chips that have expiry dates ranging from mid July to mid august 2023 question: is it ok to fill these “expired” products in my machines ? would like to hear opinions on that thanks Canada
Gizmo Vending
No it is not ok. Now nothing is wrong with those chips and they are still good, HOWEVER that is the fastest way to lose a location is by keeping products past best by dates. Some folks won’t mind but there will be the Karen’s who don’t even buy from your machines that will make a big deal about it. Are you buying variety packs from Sams or have you started buying cases from Vistar? If you’re buying from Vistar then buy some other brands apart from Frito lay. I’m talking Herrs, gardettos, cheezits, ritz crackers, deep river, Snyders pretzels. I sale Andy Capps hot fries, they usually have a shelf life of 3-4 months but if I were to sale Chester’s hot fries than it would be the typical 45-60 day Best before date and it’s the same thing: corn and taters.
AZVendor
Take them to a food bank or homeless shelter, then buy smarter. One thing that won't help you at all is if you only have one snack machine. You won't even begin to get a handle on stales unless you have 5 strong snack locations out on the street.
joshnosh
Give them to your kids, homeless shelter, people walking by the machine. They are usually still good for a long time after the date.
