Drcpwen
I have several FSI 3038 satellite models that have condenser units that freeze up every six months or so. After I defrost the units they work again for another six months. The units are in southwest FL with very high humidity so that may be adding to the issues. I have the thermostat set at about 2.8. The thermostats are very touchy but according to Ryan Hershey they are correct as I purchased them from him. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening.? Thanks, Danny
tblake05
Maybe want to change to a usi branded thermostat. I had a similar issue with a generic tstat.
AZVendor
All USI machines should have USI thermostats in them. Don't let the cap tubes touch metal and set the thermostats no higher than 2. This is for USI only.
Drcpwen
Thanks, I'll take a look. I think I'm at 2.5 so that's probably the issue.
AZVendor
They can be set between 1 and 2.
