AP LCM4 Can Motors

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Once again, learning more about this machine. I’ve got the AP LCM4 I’ve been limping along and now I have can dispenser issues. One motor refuses to be timed properly and gets jammed and now another one has started.

Would it be easier to replace the individual motors or try to fix the timing? I’m naive on how to do either. I’ve gotten good at taking the can vend door off but lost on where to go from here.

That is the right PN but the wrong motor.  You need one that has a hole through the motor cam like this one: https://www.dsvendinginc.com/p-1128-d16700014-01-ap-lcm45-can-vend-motor.aspx

You will want the columns empty.  The last can will come out when you remove the two screws on the top hinge of the door.  Then remove the two vertical screws that hold the motor bracket.  You will have to transfer the sold out harness wires and squeeze the end of the crank arm to release it from the motor.  When you put the crank back into the new motor make sure you have it timed for the door to be closed when it's all installed.

That is the correct one. I never liked that guy because he never uses factory part numbers.  He always keeps them secret and he used to have the highest prices but lots of people buy from him.
