AngryChris
I have a lead on a sports complex south of town. I don't have much detail on it except a bottler had it and their relationship is ending. From what I understand, it's a pretty decent sized complex and it has lots of bottle machines in there but they are wanting snacks as well. Has anyone done anything like this? It seems similar to a recreation center in some ways but maybe far more active. I'm just trying to gauge sales. Thanks!
AZVendor
If there isn't any kind of snack bar to compete with you'll only be competing with Moms and their ice chests. You would need maximum security on every machine and the snacks would need to be chilled. There's no way to guess the sales, though. Do a minimal number of machines and then only add if it makes sense. There is a reason the bottler is out. Maybe bad service, maybe poor sales, maybe lack of selection. Yeah that's exactly my concern. I will say though that nearly every bottler machine I ever come across in a VERY large region of Ohio, machines are often almost completely sold-out and dates are great. At one zoo, I saw everything sold-out except pepsi and dr pepper. I thought that was weird. Well, I tried to buy a pepsi and the B key wasn't working on this bevmax. If not for that, it would have been 100% sold-out. The service around here in general is trash. I just need one good driver and I can grow like a magic bean stalk. I'll move to Ohio 😂

And I wouldn't mind one bit paying a good driver
