JWFloridaVend
I bought a used Snacktron off of someone for my gym. I don't have much knowledge in this area but figured I could learn. I can't seem to find the issue anywhere though. The gentleman who sold it to me said he thought it would need a new Bill Validator. But the unit doesn't even accept coins. I had a harness repair off of the transformer, tested voltage coming to the coin exchanger on the board harnesses and everything checks out. I've purchased two different used coin exchangers and neither changed the result. The change falls straight thru the unit. I checked the door switch which seemed to be a common issue. Some people say their door switch, when pressed, changes from a coins only display to a blank display. Mine flashes blank and then brings up coins only. I also bypassed the door switch by tying them together. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure where else to go with this machine.
AZVendor
Just the Snacktron name doesn't tell us anything. What is the model number? It's either on a plate on the back of the machine or on the inside of the cabinet down low on the left side or maybe on the back of the delivery bin. What you describe is a door switch wired backwards. Reverse the wires - does it behave properly then. If not then what you might have is a bad coin board in the machine. It's generally to the left of the logic board.
JWFloridaVend
It is a Snacktron 2 and the model # is 146 25282. The coin board is mounted next to the main board and listed as A4 in the manual?

JWFloridaVend
I wired up the door switch and tested both wires on each terminal and the result is the same. I have contacted CapitalVending about getting a replacement board. I should know by the end of the day tomorrow if their techs had any spares laying around. I will order a new board and see if that fixes the issue. Thank you for your help. I'll be in touch.
