Lowco Vending
I have a USI Lance 3053 and it does not have MDB - how difficult and how costly will it be to upgrade so that I can install cashless pay? I have found a manual .PDF but it is for later serial numbers, my serial number is 801886.
AZVendor
You would need a board out of a later 3053 or 3054 that has MDB on it. That could be hard to find. I'm surprised yours doesn't have it so yours must be a very early one. Honestly I wouldn't even bother with it and just get a more modern machine that is already MDB. You would need to ask Vendnet this, but if the board in these machines is a SM6 board then that is probably what you should look for. AngryChris
These older USI machines are getting difficult to find parts for. You can probably get an InOne kit for that machine but I don't know if that specific model is compatible.

I had a local refurbisher tell me that they can't get motors for AP 7000s anymore (new) or door gaskets for 501Es. I haven't ever had to replace a gasket and I have plenty motors but can you imagine? And a brand new USI snack or soda is easily 5k+
orsd
NBS (the sign front and flavorstrip printer) has inner door gaskets for 501Es. Failing that any good refrigeration parts wholesaler should be able to make/order you a custom one to fit.

And as orsd said, NBS for the door gasket.

AZVendor
Actually, it's crazy that they would not just buy repops for less money.
Lowco Vending
Thanks for the help. Here's the photos of my current board and some others of the machine.
AZVendor
Way too old for MDB. You'll need a true MDB board from another machine. I think it's a SM4 board there.
Lowco Vending
Thanks for checking it out. Do you think I could use this kit to retro fit the machine or am I taking this one out behind the barn? The kit: https://www.dsvendinginc.com/p-10895-d950u-1-inone-kit-usi-30133023-25305330543077308430853157-593160318431853208-series-machines.aspx
AZVendor
Check with InOne Technologies first to make sure it will actually fit your machine. It is a good kit so if it fits it would be a good solution.
tblake05
I can’t say for sure but compare schematics to an sm6 board usi machine. There may be a chance. Good luck finding one though.
