PSvending
I have a few AP6600 and one 76000. I’m wanting to add those blue keys so I can use the QR code for contactless payment. Does anyone have any recommendations for this? What do I need to accomplish this? I saw someone use a new board that came with a bunch of other stuff from inone technology but they’re kind of expensive so wondering if there are cheaper alternatives. Thanks! AngryChris
There are lots that just convert the signal but I don't recommend those. An InOne kit is ideal.
AZVendor
You have to use Payrange or whatever device you find (not sure what else it would be) with MDB but like Chris said, don't bother with an MDB converter because they cause slow change payouts. Like reaaalllly slow. Then you would also have to put an MDB coin mech in it. With the InOne kit you can actually keep your micromech coin mech and bill validator and still have MDB in the board for Payrange or even a card reader if you want. It's the only aftermarket board that does that and it has been out the longest, like 20+ years. You can even add a good, working guaranteed vend sensor system if you want. PSvending
Have either you used one of these kits? Is it fairly straight forward to use?
AZVendor
Yes it is. Stop worrying about it and just get one. If you're nervous just read up on it and download the instructions.
PSvending
Okay! Sounds good to me.
AngryChris
I have probably installed 20+ InOne kits. In the end, because you don't have to replace the mech and validator, the InOne kit may actually be the cheaper investment. And it is absolutely unequivocally the superior way to go compared to an mdb converter. VE makes a kit too but inone is top notch.
