Caribbean Vend
Good morning everyone, I have an issue with 1 of my Vendo 721 live display, Every so often my evaporator unit freezes up in my 721 after a few days, It runs for 2 to 3 weeks and then freezes up. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
Gizmo Vending
So if you opened the door today it would start icing up in 2 or 3 weeks? If it takes that long to start freezing up then it’s probably a door flap getting stuck and not shutting properly every so often. Any other issue would cause it to start icing up immediately. Caribbean Vend
Hey Gizmo, Thanks for the response but it is not the door flap I checked all of those issues, and I think it could be low on freon or some other issue. What do you think ?
Gizmo Vending
Perhaps, but if if you were to completely defrost the evap and it had a small leak or lost some refrigerant over time it generally will start frosting right away. Make sure they aren’t putting boxes behind the machine for storage. I’ve had that happen.
Vendo Mike
Does it consistently freeze up or "every so often"? Low freon issues are going to be consistent. Are you getting water in the pan? Curious if your hose is clogged and your building ice from the bottom up.
